Caitlin M. Walker Community Outreach & Certified Life Celebrant Cait@ConroyTullyWalker.com

Caitlin (MacDonald) Walker entered Funeral Service in 2015 after spending the past several years as a Special Education teacher with a focus in Behavioral Disabilities.

For Cait, the transition from teaching to Funeral Service has been easy.  She’s been able to apply the strengths that she has as a teacher into helping families and creating personalized services through special touches and details. Making sure that each service is personalized and meaningful to the family is of the utmost importance. It is a true honor for Cait to not only help families during the services, but also well after the services have ended.

While Caitlin wears several hats at our Funeral Home, one of the roles she enjoys the most is assisting families with planning a uniquely personalized Celebration of Life. Caitlin has received specialized training to officiate services that are truly unique to the life lived. For those who wish to have a Celebration of Life ceremony, Caitlin works closely with our families to learn about the individual and incorporates special music, stories and memories to create a one of a kind service of remembrance.

In addition to her role as a Certified Life Celebrant, Cait oversees all planning of our community events. She is responsible for the coordination of our Annual Outdoor Memorial Day Mass, Candlelight Service of Remembrance, First Responder Appreciation Cookout, and several other community outreach programs.

She is actively involved with The Center for Grieving Children and the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce.

When she is not serving our community, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her huge family, close circle of friends, and especially her husband Adam and their slobbery pooch, Newbie. Caitlin and Adam are excited to welcome Baby Walker into the world in early 2019.
